ARS By-Laws Amendments

Please refer to the sections below for proposed amendments to the ARS By-Laws. There is a 90-day period for review and comments that are encouraged. The comments period will end January 20, 2026.

ARTICLE II: GOVERNING BODY
Section 1. Officers
The elected officers of this Society are:

Section 12. Research Coordinator

The Research Coordinator shall lead research efforts, oversee and prioritize the research activities, guide development of new research programs, and ensure ethical oversight of ARS research efforts. The Research Coordinator is a member of the ARS Board of Directors.

Section 14. Executive Committee

The Executive Committee shall consist of the President, the Executive Vice President, the Vice President of Development & Strategic Initiatives, the Immediate Past President, the President-Elect, the 1st Vice-President, the 2nd Vice-President, the Secretary and the Treasurer, who shall be responsible for all non-policy day-to-day operations of the Society.
