OVERVIEW OF FELLOWSHIP

The Neurorhinology—Advanced Rhinology Fellowship at the University of Colorado is a one-year program under the mentorship of Drs. The fellow will train in a high-volume, tertiary care setting with comprehensive clinical and surgical training in the treatment of sinonasal inflammatory and neoplastic disease, anterior skull base and orbital surgery. Fellows will have a faculty appointment at the instructor level and will play a critical role in resident and medical student education in both the clinic and the operating room. The fellow will have extensive educational opportunities including, but not limited to, weekly departmental didactics, weekly rhinology case conferences, state-of-the-art cadaveric labs, and grand rounds. Additional unique opportunities include clinical observership and research collaboration with multi-disciplinary experts at National Jewish Health—a top-ranked internationally renowned institution specializing in respiratory care. Protected academic time is provided and ample opportunities for basic, translational and clinical research collaboration exist at the University of Colorado, Veterans Affairs Hospital, and National Jewish Health.
